Offer Negotiations: Can we negotiate? How do counter-offers work?

Sellers may choose to present counter-offers to any of the offers put forth to them by buyers.

Sellers are also encouraged to complement their counter-offers with a message explaining their proposal. The more clarity around each offer there is, the more likely both parties will come to an amicable conclusion.

The seller may then reject and/or counter-offer the buyer’s offer. This system creates a more streamlined opportunity for buyers and sellers to come to an agreement.
